About Us

The Brampton Celebrity Clowns were established in the Spring of 2002 sponsored by the Brampton Kiwanis Club and participated in their first Brampton Santa Claus Parade in November 2002.

This fun loving group is formed from business people and individuals who pay to become a clown with all proceeds dedicated to children's charities. Since its inception in 2002 the group has contributed nearly $100,000.00 to children's charities.

To date equipment has been donated to Osler Hospital's Children's Ward, guide dogs for Autistic Children in Brampton through the National Service Dogs and funding to the music scholarship program at Mayfield School.

Participants attend a get acquainted reception a few days before the parade, attend at the Kiwanis Sports Complex to be made up and transported to the parade marshaling area by bus and enjoy an after parade reception.

The Celebrity Clowns hit the parade route with the Kiwanis antique fire truck flashing its lights and sounding it's siren and the Mayfield Student Volunteers brass band playing Christmas Carols all to the delight of thousands of children and adults along the parade route down Main Street Brampton.

Organization is well under way for this years parade and interested participants are most welcome to join.
